Your first years don’t have to be your hardest. Let’s make them your best.
Welcome
Every year, NSW loses nearly one in five teachers within their first five years on the job Across Australia, estimates show that up to 50% of new teachers leave the profession early due to overwhelming workloads, lack of support, and the shock of classroom realities not covered in training. Burnout, anxiety, and stress are rampant, and many early-career teachers don’t intend to stay long-term.
The Mentoring Academy for Teachers exists to change that narrative. We offer a full-day, hands-on mentorship workshop focused on navigating parent conversations, managing student behaviour, streamlining marking and planning, and maintaining work–life balance. We combine real-world teacher experience with structured support to help early-career teachers build confidence, practical strategies, and a sustainable career foundation—so they choose to stay, thrive, and truly inspire.
